Attention all cloud enthusiasts and rain aficionados! A HEAVY RAIN ALERT is still shaking its umbrella over Yasawa, the eastern half of Viti Levu (yes, that includes your favorite spots like Serua-Namosi, Navua-Suva-Nausori, Tailevu-Naitasiri-Ra), as well as the Northern Division, Lau and Lomaiviti groups, Kadavu, and the nearby smaller islands. So grab your favorite raincoat—it’s going to be a wet one!

What’s the scoop? A sluggish trough of low pressure is lounging overhead, and in true ‘tropical’ fashion, it’s accumulating clouds and showers, planning to hang around until late tomorrow.

Forecast until midnight tomorrow for the Fiji group:
Looks like the sky plans on serving you occasional rain, and when it feels particularly generous, some heavy showers and maybe a thunderstorm throwdown in Yasawa, the eastern half of Viti Levu, the Northern Division, Lau, and Lomaiviti groups, Kadavu, plus smaller buddies nearby. Rain will ease into showers later tomorrow, but don’t put that umbrella away just yet! Localized heavy rainfall might just cause a flash flood surprise in low-lying flood-prone spots.

Elsewhere, expect a blend of partly cloudy skies accompanied by afternoon or evening showers and the occasional thunderstorm as well. Just remember, isolated heavy falls are rumored to be in the cards too. Hold onto your hats!

Wind enthusiasts will enjoy moderate to fresh northeast to southeast winds blowing through. And if you’re into ocean adventures, forecasted moderate to rough seas will give you that thrill you seek!

Tuesday’s Outlook: More of the same, dear friends, as occasional showers and those pesky isolated thunderstorms are expected over the eastern half of Viti Levu and parts of Vanua Levu, Lau, Lomaiviti, Kadavu, and surrounding smaller islands. Localized heavy rain might still lead to a watery ruckus in certain flood-prone areas.

Now for a little peek into your local forecasts:

For Navua/Suva/Nausori:
Expect rain today with a maximum of 27, and tomorrow you’ll chill at a minimum of 22 and a maximum of 28. Keep an umbrella handy because Tuesday is likely to bring more of those occasional showers and isolated thunderstorm drama.

For Sigatoka/Coral Coast:
Buckle in for partly cloudy skies with potential for afternoon downpours and thunderstorms. Today’s max is 29. Tomorrow, gear up for 23 as the minimum, climbing to a cozy 31. And as for Tuesday, let’s keep it fine apart from the usual afternoon shower chatter.

For Nadi/Lautoka/Ba:
Partly cloudy isn’t quite the word! Get ready for those afternoon thunderstorms and isolated heavy falls. Today’s max, 29. Tomorrow, eerie 23 as the minimum, and max out at 31. Tuesday brings us back to fine weather—sort of.

For Tavua/Rakiraki:
Heavy rain today, hooray! Well, maybe not hooray—with some thunderstorm accompaniment. Expect a max of 29, then tomorrow a minimum of 23, going up to 31. Tuesday, brace for occasional showers!

For Yasawa/Mamanuca:
Today could be more adventurous with heavy rain, hitting a max of 28. Tomorrow, calm at a minimum of 22, peaking at 29. And Tuesday? Just the usual afternoon showers.

No need to drown in details for the rest of the regions; you get the picture! Rainy days are ahead, so keep that spirit up, grab a hot drink, and let the puddle-jumping begin! Stay safe out there, Fiji!
