Fiji Gymnasts Shine with Bronze at National Carnival!

The Island Acro Fiji Gymnastics Club proudly claimed bronze medals in both the novice and intermediate categories at the National Clubs Gymnastics Carnival held in Gold Coast, Australia, on Tuesday.

The young athletes delivered an impressive performance in team events that featured mini tramp, floor, and tumbling routines. Their dedication and preparation were evident, leaving a memorable impact on the audience.

Hannah Kacy Zatara Vula, a Year 8 student from FSC Primary School, was a standout performer and expressed her delight with the club’s achievements. “I feel happy, thrilled, and excited when doing gymnastics because it is my dream and talent, and I really love gymnastics. My goal and dream is to be a gymnastics Olympian gold medalist,” Vula shared.

Hailing from Nailaga village in Ba, Vula showed appreciation for her teammates and supporters. “I love my teammates, and all our hard work showed on stage. I feel proud and excited,” she stated.

Additionally, she expressed gratitude for her family’s support and the encouragement of her church community. “I want to thank God for making it possible and giving me this talent, my family, and my church family INC Ba for their prayers.”
