The Coalition Government has honored its commitment to reward the Fiji rugby 7s players for their remarkable achievements at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Each member of the silver medal-winning team received a payment of $20,000 as part of an incentive program that was approved and made public by the Coalition Government in June.
The Fiji Rugby Union received the funds yesterday and will transfer the money directly into the players’ bank accounts.
This financial reward is intended as a gesture of appreciation for the players’ exceptional performance and their significant role in contributing to the nation’s sporting success.
