The Fijian government is introducing significant tax incentives to bolster support for two major sports initiatives.
Donors contributing over $10,000 to Fiji’s bid to host the 2031 Pacific Games can benefit from a 200% tax deduction.
Likewise, donations exceeding $250,000 toward Fiji’s bid to join the National Rugby League (NRL) will also receive a 200% tax deduction.
Moreover, if the NRL bid succeeds, the organization in charge will enjoy a 13-year tax holiday and duty concessions, akin to those granted to the Fijian Drua.
