Fiji Women’s Futsal Head Coach Jerry Sam highlighted the team’s enthusiasm for learning and progressing as their most notable strength. The squad is currently in the Solomon Islands preparing for the inaugural OFC Women’s Futsal Championship, with their opening match against Tahiti on the horizon.
“The girls have trained diligently for the tournament. They are always looking ahead, and representing Fiji is a significant milestone for them,” Sam stated.
He expressed satisfaction with the team’s chemistry, noting their support for one another and their eagerness to improve as they embark on this new experience.
Sam indicated that he would assess the team’s performance after the match against Tahiti on Saturday but expressed complete confidence in his players’ abilities.
