The Digicel Fiji National Football Team has ascended three positions to rank 150th in the latest FIFA World Rankings. This increase follows their strong performances in the Tri-Nations series, where they achieved a victory over the Solomon Islands and secured a draw against Hong Kong.
Coach Rob Sherman has guided the team to become the third highest ranked in Oceania, trailing only New Zealand at 95th and the Solomon Islands at 144th. In the region, Samoa has also made notable strides, jumping seven spots to 185th after winning against Tonga and American Samoa in FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
On a global level, Argentina remains at the top, reaffirming its position as the reigning world champions.
