Under Coach Rob Sherman, the team has demonstrated notable progress, positioning itself as the third highest team in Oceania, trailing only New Zealand at 95th and the Solomon Islands at 144th.
In the Oceania region, Samoa has also made significant strides, moving up seven places to 185th after winning matches against Tonga and American Samoa in FIFA World Cup qualifiers. On the world stage, Argentina remains at the top as the highest-ranked team, upholding its title as the reigning world champions.
