Experienced Suva defender Kavaia Rawaqa has been named in Fiji’s squad for the FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Rawaqa, who has not played for the national team recently, has been brought back to replace Mosese Nabose at left-back. Nabose withdrew from the squad due to personal obligations.
Additionally, Suva striker Merrill Nand and Ba forward Etonia Dogalau, who were absent from previous selections, have also been included in the team. The Fiji squad, coached by Rob Sherman, will kick off its campaign against the Solomon Islands at 7 PM on Thursday at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
