The Digicel Fiji National Football Team has moved up three spots to rank 150th in the most recent FIFA World Rankings. This improvement follows their strong performances in the Tri-Nations series, during which Fiji achieved a victory over the Solomon Islands and secured a draw against Hong Kong.
With Coach Rob Sherman at the helm, the team’s growth is clear, positioning them as the third highest-ranked team in Oceania, trailing only New Zealand at 95th and the Solomon Islands at 144th.
Additionally, Samoa has made notable progress by rising seven spots to 185th, thanks to their wins against Tonga and American Samoa in FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
On the international front, Argentina remains at the top of the rankings, holding onto its title as the reigning world champions.
