The Digicel Fiji National Football Team has moved up three positions to rank 150th in the latest FIFA World Rankings. This improvement follows their strong performances in the Tri-Nations series, where they achieved a victory over the Solomon Islands and secured a draw against Hong Kong. Under Coach Rob Sherman, the team’s advancement is clear, as they now hold the position of the third highest team in Oceania, trailing only New Zealand at 95th and the Solomon Islands at 144th.

In the region, Samoa has also made notable strides, rising seven spots to 185th after winning matches against Tonga and American Samoa in FIFA World Cup qualifiers. On the international front, Argentina remains the top-ranked team, continuing its reign as the world champion.
