Former FIFA referee Intaz Shah has been recognized as the 85th member of the Fiji Football Association’s Legends Club, highlighting his extraordinary contributions to both Fiji and international football. The honors were presented by Fiji FA CEO Mohammed Yusuf at the Association’s headquarters.

Shah’s career in football is characterized by his unwavering passion, versatility, and commitment. As a coach, he earned various certifications and engaged in elite coaching programs to enhance his skills. His refereeing career began to flourish when he attained the prestigious FIFA Referees Badge in 1992, which allowed him to officiate at numerous international tournaments, including FIFA World Cup Qualifiers and events organized by the Oceania Football Confederation.

His induction into the Legends Club solidifies his status as a cornerstone of Fiji’s football heritage. Even while living abroad, Shah continues to be a fervent supporter of Fiji Football, motivating aspiring athletes and coaches to strive for excellence in the sport.

This acknowledgment not only celebrates Shah’s personal achievements but also serves as an inspiration for future generations in Fiji, reaffirming the impact of dedication and passion in sports.
