The Fiji Football Association has launched an exciting new line of Fiji Football merchandise at Jacks of Fiji, representing a significant development for the sport and its enthusiastic supporters. This event featured members of the Fiji National Football Team, who expressed their support for the initiative, emphasizing the importance of allowing fans to display their allegiance not just during matches but in their daily lives.
Dilpesh Kumar, the Head of Procurement at Jacks of Fiji, highlighted that the merchandise aims to enhance fan engagement and foster a sense of pride in Fiji football. He stated, “Merchandise is here for the fans of Fiji. Buy it and support the Fiji team so we have more fan following. Pride for soccer will grow more in Fiji.”
Fiji national football player Naomi Waqanidrola welcomed the collaboration, mentioning that the new apparel not only benefits the fans but also has a positive impact on the players. “We are happy that Custom Athletics are coming on board to give us a new look for the national team. I think this will be great motivation for us as well to wear something that we are comfortable with,” she remarked, acknowledging how comfort in their gear can enhance performance on the field.
Another player, Merrill Nand, emphasized the encouragement that fans provide during competitions. He commented, “So now when we have home games, far away games, there’ll be fans wearing our jerseys. That’ll be a sort of motivation factor for us players.”
