The Fiji Water Flying Fijians have secured their place in the final of the Asahi Super Dry Pacific Nations Cup after a 22-3 victory over the USA Eagles in a closely contested semi-final last night.

Fiji’s No.8 Elia Canakaivata was the star of the match, scoring two tries, while halfback Frank Lomani added another try to the tally. Caleb Muntz also played a key role, successfully converting two penalties that helped solidify Fiji’s advancement to the final.

The USA Eagles displayed a commendable defensive performance, applying pressure on the Fijian offense throughout the game. However, they could only manage to score through a penalty kicked by flyhalf Chris Matina in the first half.
