Police Commissioner Rusiate Tudravu has issued a strong warning to spectators ahead of the Fiji Finals, emphasizing the importance of behaving appropriately during this major event. The commissioner also mentioned that he was not aware of any police escorts provided to students returning from Suva after the Triple N Zone, acknowledging public concerns regarding buses and police bypassing normal traffic queues during peak hours along the Suva-Nausori corridor.
This warning coincides with previous efforts by the Fiji Police Force during significant events, such as the Fiji Secondary Schools Deans Quarter Finals, where enhanced security measures were implemented to ensure the safety of participants and spectators alike. Just as in past events, police will maintain a strong presence to provide security and encourage attendance at the Fiji Finals.
