Originally designed to support Fijian designers, FJFW has expanded its reach to include international designers, allowing local creatives to learn from their global counterparts. The opening night of FJFW featured a variety of designers from different walks of life, including Tia Semi, a designer with hearing loss and intellectual challenges who has earned recognition for her unique contributions to the fashion scene.
This aligns well with FJFW’s upcoming season, set to launch on May 3 at the refurbished Arts Village in Pacific Harbour.
