Fiji’s star player Roy Krishna will captain the Digicel Fiji Bula Boys in their final match of the FIFA International “A” Tri-Nations Friendlies against Hong Kong-China. In the kickoff match, Fiji secured a 1-0 victory over the Solomon Islands, who subsequently faced a 0-3 defeat against Hong Kong.

With the stage set, Fiji will compete against Hong Kong for the Tri-Nations cup. Mohammed Yusuf, Chief Executive of the Fiji Football Association, expressed confidence in the team’s preparation for this critical encounter. He noted that while Hong Kong poses a formidable challenge, he believes in the Bula Boys’ capacity to achieve victory.

“The stakes are high; Fiji needs a win to claim the Tri-Nations cup, while Hong Kong requires only a draw due to their superior goal difference,” Yusuf explained. He highlighted that Krishna’s return to the squad is a significant advantage, emphasizing the importance of his leadership in the upcoming match.

The match is scheduled for today at 3 pm at Churchill Park in Lautoka, marking the tournament’s conclusion. Fans are encouraged to attend and witness the exciting clash between the local team and Hong Kong’s skilled players.
