After securing two strong victories against Tahiti and Tonga, the team coached by Jerry Sam faced a challenging opponent, trailing 5-0 at halftime.
Koleta Likuculacula scored the only goal for Fiji in the second half, bringing her total to four goals in three matches. Following this match, Fiji will have a break to recuperate, while New Zealand is set to play against the Solomon Islands on Thursday.
