Rewa FC, the reigning National League champions and semifinalists of the OFC Champions League, shone brilliantly at the 2024 Extra Supermarket sponsored Fiji FA Awards Night held in Nadi, taking home five prestigious awards.

Midfielder Ratu Tevita Waranaivalu garnered the title of 2024 Male Footballer of the Year, showcasing his significant contributions on the field. In the female category, Adi Litia Bakaniceva was recognized as the 2024 Female Footballer of the Year for her outstanding performance throughout the season.

In addition, Rewa’s president, Nazeel Buksh, was honored as the Administrator of the Year, reflecting the organization’s strong leadership and commitment to fostering football in Fiji. The Delta Tigers secured the coveted Team of the Year award, further solidifying their status as a top contender in the league.

The evening also celebrated other exceptional individuals in the Fijian football community. Adi Vikatoria Veronika was named the Female Futsal Player of the Year, while Dr. Diva Singh of Tavua FC earned the Coach of the Year award. Lautoka’s Aporosa Yada took home the Goal of the Year award, and Mohammed Kaseem from Labasa was recognized as the Volunteer of the Year. Additional awards highlighted the achievements of male and female young footballers, futsal players, and even media contributions.
