This event will recognize outstanding achievements within the sport, featuring 14 esteemed awards and supported by a new sponsor, Extra Supermarket, which promises to enhance the overall experience.
Fiji FA CEO, Mohammed Yusuf, emphasized the significance of the Awards Night in bringing together the football community and acknowledging the hard work of individuals and teams. This year, the event will celebrate the remarkable contributions of players, coaches, teams, officials, and volunteers in Fiji’s football landscape. Yusuf has encouraged all 20 Fiji FA-affiliated clubs to submit nominations, ensuring that deserving members receive recognition for their endeavors. He remarked, “We urge all clubs to send in their nominations for the hard work of their players, coaches, officials, and volunteers.”
In addition to the traditional awards, new categories will be introduced to honor various contributions across the football community. Awards will include Footballer of the Year for both males and females, Young Footballer of the Year, Futsal Player of the Year, Team of the Year, Administrator of the Year, Coach of the Year, Referee of the Year, Elite Player of the Year, Volunteer of the Year, and Employee of the Year.
