This year’s event has partnered with Extra Supermarket, promising to enhance the overall experience and recognition of achievements within the football community.
Fiji FA chief executive Mohammed Yusuf emphasized the significance of this gala event, stating that it will bring together the football fraternity and celebrate the dedication of players, coaches, officials, and volunteers throughout Fiji. He encouraged all 20 affiliated clubs to submit nominations for their deserving members, urging them to help ensure that their stars are recognized for their hard work.
This year’s awards will introduce several new categories, including Footballer of the Year (Male and Female), Young Footballer of the Year (Male and Female), Futsal Player of the Year (Male and Female), and various awards recognizing teams, administrators, coaches, referees, and volunteers. Yusuf highlighted that these expanded categories will honor a wider range of contributions to both football and futsal, showcasing the essential roles played by those involved in nurturing the sport.
