Former Fiji Link CEO Shaenaz Voss and former Senior Security Officer Sharun Ali are currently being interrogated by the Fiji Police Force. Assistant Commissioner of Police – Crime, Mesake Waqa, stated that both individuals are facing an investigation for allegations regarding the unlawful transportation of firearms and ammunition on domestic flights.
Recently, Voss and Ali were observed departing from the Nadi Police Station. Last week, the Director of Public Prosecutions dropped its charge against Voss, citing non-compliance with the regulations of the airline’s security program. Voss faced charges for the unlawful carriage of firearms on a flight from Nausori to Labasa Airport in 2018.
