The Ministry of Education in Fiji has announced a commendable increase in the pass rate for the Eighth Year Exams, achieving 69 percent this year, up from 67 percent last year. This improvement reflects the hard work and commitment of both students and educators.

The results are provisional for a period of 30 days, allowing students the option to request a recount of their marks for a fee of $5 per subject, or a full remark for $25 per subject. This gives students the opportunity to ensure the accuracy of their exam results.

A total of 18,968 students participated in the exams, which were held across 712 centers. Students can check their results online at the Ministry’s official website by entering their unique examination identification number and personal details. In case of any access issues, students are encouraged to visit their schools or the District Education Office starting tomorrow at 8 AM.

Minister for Education, Aseri Radrodro, expressed his heartfelt congratulations to all involved—including students, parents, guardians, teachers, and school administrators—for their tireless efforts and dedication throughout the educational process.

This positive development signals an encouraging trend in education standards in Fiji, boding well for future academic success. The collective effort from all parties shows that with support and hard work, students can continue to thrive in their educational pursuits.
