The Ministry of Education has announced a 69 percent pass rate for the Fiji Eighth Year Exams, marking an increase from last year’s 67 percent. This improvement reflects the hard work and dedication of students and educators alike.
The results are provisional for 30 days, during which students can request a mark recount for $5 per subject or a remark for $25 per subject. In total, 18,968 students participated in the exams, which were held across 712 centers.
Students can access their results online at www.examresults.gov.fj using their unique examination identification number and personal credentials. For those experiencing issues with online access, support is available at their respective schools or District Education Offices starting from 8 am tomorrow.
Minister for Education Aseri Radrodro expressed his congratulations and gratitude to students, parents, guardians, teachers, school management committees, ancillary staff, and all stakeholders for their commitment throughout the educational process.
This year’s increase in the pass rate is a promising sign of advancements in Fiji’s educational system, highlighting the collective efforts of various stakeholders to enhance student outcomes. With a positive trajectory in academic performance, there is hope for continued improvements in the future.
