Fiji Driver Charged in Tragic Accident: What’s Next?

The Fiji Police Force has announced that the driver suspected of causing the fatal accident that resulted in the death of a 20-year-old man in Lautoka last week has been charged. According to a statement from the police, the 30-year-old accused has been charged with one count of dangerous driving causing death and appeared in Lautoka Magistrates Court yesterday. He has been remanded in custody, and the case has been postponed until September 30, 2024.
