After spending over six years together, Fiji-born couple Jiten Lal and Sandya Chand decided to return to their homeland from New Zealand to celebrate their wedding. Having spent nearly three decades in Auckland, New Zealand, they chose Fiji as the perfect destination for their big day, emphasizing the deep connection they have with their roots.
Jiten, originally from Nausori, and Sandya, hailing from Nadi, met in Manukau, Auckland, and after living together for over six years, they made the heartfelt decision to tie the knot in Fiji. Jiten described their wedding as a dream come true, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to celebrate with family and friends who gathered to shower the couple with love and blessings.
The couple praised the exemplary hospitality they experienced in Fiji, especially highlighting their stay at the Novotel Hotel in Lami. They were impressed by the event organization, decorations, and the friendliness of the staff, noting that the food exceeded their expectations. “Everything turned out so well… we are thankful to all our wonderful Fijian friends in the wedding and entertainment business that made our marriage much more special and memorable,” Lal shared.
