Fiji Powerlifting achieved impressive success at the Oceania Regional Powerlifting Championship held in Nauru, securing a total of 19 medals. The team’s haul included two gold medals, seven silver medals, and ten bronze medals across various weight categories, specifically under 74kg, under 83kg, under 93kg, under 105kg, and under 120kg.
Notable medalists from Fiji’s team include Vinesh Chand, Faga Varea, Muzzammi Ali, Viliame Lagonilakeba, Kurt Wise, and the youngest competitor, Vivaan Patel. Their achievements highlight the skill and dedication present in Fiji’s powerlifting community.
