This impressive tally included two gold medals, seven silver medals, and ten bronze medals across several weight categories, including under 74kg, under 83kg, under 93kg, under 105kg, and under 120kg.
Notable performances came from athletes such as Vinesh Chand, Faga Varea, Muzzammi Ali, Viliame Lagonilakeba, Kurt Wise, and Vivaan Patel, who made waves as the youngest competitor at the event.
In addition to their medal haul, Fiji was awarded the opportunity to host the 2026 Oceania Powerlifting Championship, a significant honor that reflects the nation’s growing prominence in the sport.
