The Miss Universe Fiji 2024 Gala Crowning Function took place on Friday, September 30, at The Pearl Resort & Spa in Pacific Harbour. Manshika Prasad, a 24-year-old from Lakena Nausori, was crowned the winner. The co-runners-up were 23-year-old Susan Ranadi from Ekubu and 30-year-old Nadine Roberts.
This event marked Fiji’s long-awaited return to the Miss Universe platform after 43 years. The festivities included a red carpet, pre-event refreshments, a buffet dinner, performances by the Vou Dance Group and Bitz n Pieces Band, and three fashion parades.
There were several category awards presented during the evening, with Susan Ranadi winning Best Catwalk and Nadine Roberts taking home awards for Best Evening Gown and Miss Social Media. The event wrapped up with a spectacular fireworks display.
In addition to the gala, the finalists enjoyed participating in fashion shoots and exclusive dinners at The Pearl Resort. The official partners for Miss Universe Fiji 2024 included LUX Projects Fiji, The Pearl Resort & Spa, and various organizations in the fashion, charity, and hospitality sectors.
The newly crowned winner will go on to represent Fiji at the Miss Universe International Final in Mexico City, scheduled for mid-November.
