The Miss Universe Fiji 2024 Gala Crowning Function took place on Friday, September 30, at The Pearl Resort & Spa in Pacific Harbour. Manshika Prasad, a 24-year-old from Lakena Nausori, was crowned the winner. The event also recognized co-runners-up 23-year-old Susan Ranadi from Ekubu and 30-year-old Nadine Roberts.
This celebration marked Fiji’s return to the Miss Universe stage after a hiatus of 43 years. The evening included a red carpet entrance, pre-event drinks, a buffet dinner, and entertainment featuring the Vou Dance Group and the Bitz n Pieces Band, alongside three fashion parades.
During the event, several category awards were presented, with Susana Ranadi winning for Best Catwalk and Nadine Roberts taking home the awards for Best Evening Gown and Miss Social Media. The festivities concluded with a fireworks display.
Finalists also engaged in fashion shoots and exclusive dinners at The Pearl Resort in the lead-up to the event. The official partners for Miss Universe Fiji 2024 included LUX Projects Fiji, The Pearl Resort & Spa, and other contributors from the fields of fashion, charity, and hospitality.
The newly crowned winner will go on to represent Fiji at the Miss Universe International Final in Mexico City in mid-November.
