The Miss Universe Fiji 2024 Gala Crowning Function took place on Friday, September 30, at The Pearl Resort & Spa in Pacific Harbour. Manshika Prasad, a 24-year-old from Lakena Nausori, was crowned the winner. The co-runners-up were 23-year-old Susan Ranadi from Ekubu and 30-year-old Nadine Roberts.
This event marked Fiji’s return to the Miss Universe competition after a 43-year hiatus and featured a red carpet, pre-event drinks, a buffet dinner, performances by the Vou Dance Group and Bitz n Pieces Band, as well as three fashion parades. Various category awards were presented, with notable achievements going to Susana Ranadi for Best Catwalk and Nadine Roberts for Best Evening Gown and Miss Social Media. The evening culminated in a fireworks display.
Finalists also engaged in fashion shoots and exclusive dinners at The Pearl Resort. The event had several official partners, including LUX Projects Fiji and The Pearl Resort & Spa, along with others in the fashion, charity, and hospitality sectors. The winner will go on to represent Fiji at the Miss Universe International Final in Mexico City in mid-November.
