The Cabinet has approved the surrender of a segment of the Colo-i-Suva Forestry Reserve lease, facilitating the Water Authority of Fiji (WAF) in enhancing its infrastructure. This significant upgrade initiative, which spans the corridor from Sawani to Colo-i-Suva, is aimed at improving water service delivery for communities situated between Sawani and Tacirua.
Under this project, WAF plans to utilize a portion of the forest reserve located next to its current reservoir in Colo-i-Suva to expand and elevate its service capabilities. This development underscores a commitment to providing better water access and reliability to residents in the affected regions, ultimately contributing to the overall enhancement of community resources and infrastructure.
