The Fiji National University recently celebrated the 25th anniversary of its Fiji Business Excellence Awards at the Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort. This prestigious event showcased the achievements of the nation’s leading businesses, reinforcing the commitment and resilience of entrepreneurs across Fiji.

Professor Unaisi Nabobo-Baba, Vice-Chancellor of FNU, emphasized that the Silver Jubilee serves as a reminder that the path to excellence is continual rather than finite. “It is a commitment to continuous improvement that strengthens our economy and society,” she stated.

Mark Halabe, Managing Director of Mark One Apparel, who received the Business Excellence President Award, encouraged all businesses in Fiji to embrace this journey of growth and improvement. His words inspire a collective effort toward achieving excellence in the business sector.

The event also marked the farewell of outgoing President Ratu Wiliame Katonivere, adding a significant note to the occasion.

– **Business Excellence Achievement Award:** Zens Medical Centres Pte Ltd, Health Care (Fiji) Pte Ltd (trading as Aspen Medical Ba Hospital), National Fire Authority.
– **Business Excellence Commitment Award:** Capital Go Max Freights Pte Limited (CGM Freights), Kastle (Fiji) Pte Ltd, Ba Motor Parts Pte Ltd, Oceania Hospitals Pte Ltd.
– **APO National Award:** Stanley Raniga, CEO of Future Farms Ltd (trading as Rooster Poultry).
– **FBEA Green Sustainability Award:** Mark Halabe, Managing Director of Mark One Apparel.
