Fiji’s women’s rugby league team, known as the Bulikula, has set an ambitious goal of qualifying for the 2025 Women’s Rugby League World Cup. Head coach Josaia Rabele has outlined that the team aims not only to qualify but also to secure a position within the top eight teams globally.
The Bulikula enjoyed a remarkable rise in the International Rugby League (IRL) rankings, moving from 26th to 16th place last year. This improvement is a testament to their hard work and dedication, especially as it places them above notable teams like Nigeria, Kenya, and the Philippines.
