Fiji Bula Boys Strengthen Squad Ahead of World Cup Qualifiers

Digicel Fiji Bula Boys head coach Rob Sherman has strengthened his squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Oceania Qualifiers by adding three new players. The new additions to the extended 27-member squad are Leroy Jennings, a midfielder from Sydney United FC; Gabrieli Matanisiga, a defender from Wellington Olympic AFC; and Kavaia Rawaqa, a defender from Suva FC.

Fiji has been placed in Group A for the qualifiers, competing against the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, and New Caledonia. The first round of qualifiers is scheduled to begin on October 10 at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.

The full 27-member squad includes: Isikeli Sevania, Samuela Kautoga, Epeli Leiroti, Ivan Kumar, Sitiveni Cavulagi, Thomas Dunn, Mohammed Raheem, Setareki Hughes, Aprosa Yada, Nabil Begg, Mosese Nabose, Tevita Waranaivalu, Merril Nand, Leroy Jennings, Sairusi Nalabu, Patrik Joseph, Atonio Tuivuna, Filipe Baravilala, Kavaia Rawaqa, Rahul Krishna, Jerome Narayan, Sterling Vasconcellos, Akuila Mataisuva, Dave Radrigai, Gabrieli Matanisiga, and Etonia Dogalau.
