The Digicel Fiji Bula Boys will finalize their 22-member squad for the FIFA International “A” Friendlies Tri-Nations Series 2024 this week. The series, featuring national teams from Fiji, Hong Kong-China, and the Solomon Islands, is set to take place next month.
Manager Kartik Reddy announced that the team currently has 26 players in training, including New Zealand-based Rewa utility Samuela Kautoga, who joined the squad recently. Reddy noted that four players will be cut from the roster before the final selection, a decision expected to be made by the coach this week.
Once the squad is announced, the team will relocate their camp to Suva for further preparations. Fiji’s first match will be against the Solomon Islands on Monday, September 2, at 7 PM at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva. The Solomon Islands will play against Hong Kong-China on Thursday, September 5, also at 7 PM at the same venue. Fiji’s last match in the series will be versus Hong Kong-China on Sunday, September 8, at 3 PM at Churchill Park in Lautoka.
Tickets for the matches will be priced at $10 for adults and $5 for children under 10.
