Fiji Bula Boys Revamp Squad Ahead of FIFA World Cup Qualifiers!

Rob Sherman, the head coach of the Digicel Fiji Bula Boys, has enhanced his squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Oceania Qualifiers by adding three new players. The new members include midfielder Leroy Jennings from Sydney United FC, defender Gabrieli Matanisiga from Wellington Olympic AFC, and defender Kavaia Rawaqa from Suva FC.

Fiji is placed in Group A for the qualifiers, which also features the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, and New Caledonia. The team’s first round of qualifiers is scheduled to begin on October 10 at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.

The extended squad consists of 27 players: Isikeli Sevania, Samuela Kautoga, Epeli Leiroti, Ivan Kumar, Sitiveni Cavulagi, Thomas Dunn, Mohammed Raheem, Setareki Hughes, Aprosa Yada, Nabil Begg, Mosese Nabose, Tevita Waranaivalu, Merril Nand, Leroy Jennings, Sairusi Nalabu, Patrik Joseph, Atonio Tuivuna, Filipe Baravilala, Kavaia Rawaqa, Rahul Krishna, Jerome Narayan, Sterling Vasconcellos, Akuila Mataisuva, Dave Radrigai, Gabrieli Matanisiga, and Etonia Dogalau.
