Fiji Bula Boys Gear Up with New Faces for World Cup Qualifiers

Digicel Fiji Bula Boys head coach Rob Sherman has strengthened his roster for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Oceania Qualifiers by adding three new players. The squad now includes Sydney United FC midfielder Leroy Jennings, Wellington Olympic AFC defender Gabrieli Matanisiga, and Suva FC defender Kavaia Rawaqa, as part of an extended 27-member team.

Fiji will compete in Group A during the qualifiers, facing off against the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, and New Caledonia. The team is gearing up for the first round of the qualifiers, which will commence on October 10 at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.

The complete 27-member squad is as follows: Isikeli Sevania, Samuela Kautoga, Epeli Leiroti, Ivan Kumar, Sitiveni Cavulagi, Thomas Dunn, Mohammed Raheem, Setareki Hughes, Aprosa Yada, Nabil Begg, Mosese Nabose, Tevita Waranaivalu, Merril Nand, Leroy Jennings, Sairusi Nalabu, Patrik Joseph, Atonio Tuivuna, Filipe Baravilala, Kavaia Rawaqa, Rahul Krishna, Jerome Narayan, Sterling Vasconcellos, Akuila Mataisuva, Dave Radrigai, Gabrieli Matanisiga, and Etonia Dogalau.
