Fiji Bula Boys Gear Up: New Faces for World Cup Qualifiers!

Digicel Fiji Bula Boys head coach Rob Sherman has strengthened his squad ahead of the FIFA World Cup Oceania Qualifiers by adding three new players. The extended 27-member squad now includes Leroy Jennings, a midfielder from Sydney United FC, defender Gabrieli Matanisiga from Wellington Olympic AFC, and defender Kavaia Rawaqa from Suva FC.

Fiji has been placed in Group A for the qualifiers, where they will compete against the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, and New Caledonia. The team’s preparations are underway for the first round of qualifiers, which will begin on October 10 at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.

The 27-member squad consists of: Isikeli Sevania, Samuela Kautoga, Epeli Leiroti, Ivan Kumar, Sitiveni Cavulagi, Thomas Dunn, Mohammed Raheem, Setareki Hughes, Aprosa Yada, Nabil Begg, Mosese Nabose, Tevita Waranaivalu, Merril Nand, Leroy Jennings, Sairusi Nalabu, Patrik Joseph, Atonio Tuivuna, Filipe Baravilala, Kavaia Rawaqa, Rahul Krishna, Jerome Narayan, Sterling Vasconcellos, Akuila Mataisuva, Dave Radrigai, Gabrieli Matanisiga, and Etonia Dogalau.
