Digicel Fiji Bula Boys head coach Rob Sherman has strengthened his team for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Oceania Qualifiers by adding three new players to the squad. The additions include Leroy Jennings, a midfielder from Sydney United FC, Gabrieli Matanisiga, a defender from Wellington Olympic AFC, and Kavaia Rawaqa, a defender from Suva FC.
Fiji has been placed in Group A for the qualifiers, where they will compete against the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, and New Caledonia. The team is gearing up for the first round of qualifiers, which will begin on October 10 at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
The extended 27-member squad consists of: Isikeli Sevania, Samuela Kautoga, Epeli Leiroti, Ivan Kumar, Sitiveni Cavulagi, Thomas Dunn, Mohammed Raheem, Setareki Hughes, Aprosa Yada, Nabil Begg, Mosese Nabose, Tevita Waranaivalu, Merril Nand, Leroy Jennings, Sairusi Nalabu, Patrik Joseph, Atonio Tuivuna, Filipe Baravilala, Kavaia Rawaqa, Rahul Krishna, Jerome Narayan, Sterling Vasconcellos, Akuila Mataisuva, Dave Radrigai, Gabrieli Matanisiga, and Etonia Dogalau.
