The manager of the Digicel Fiji Bula Boys, Kartik Reddy, conveyed his confidence in the team as they prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Reddy stated, “We aim to claim the 1.5 spots available to OFC for qualification to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.”
The team is set to commence their training camp on September 29 at the Fiji FA Academy in Ba, with the final roster of 23 players expected to be announced on October 5.
Unfortunately, important players Remeuru Takiata and Muni Shivam Naidu will miss the camp due to work obligations. On a positive note, Reddy confirmed that team captain Roy Krishna, who is currently focused on his club commitments, will join the team on October 5, providing a significant boost ahead of the qualifiers.
