The manager of the Digicel Fiji Bula Boys, Kartik Reddy, has voiced optimism about the team as they prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Reddy stated, “Our goal is to secure one of the 1.5 spots available for OFC to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.”
The team is set to begin their training camp on September 29 at the Fiji FA Academy in Ba, with the final 23-member roster to be announced on October 5.
Unfortunately, key players Remeuru Takiata and Muni Shivam Naidu will miss the qualifiers due to work obligations. However, Reddy noted that team captain Roy Krishna, who is currently engaged with his club, will join the team on October 5, which is expected to provide a significant boost as they approach the qualifiers.
