Digicel Fiji Bula Boys team manager Kartik Reddy expressed optimism regarding the team’s chances as they prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Reddy stated, “We aim to claim the 1.5 spots available to OFC for qualification to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.”
The team is set to commence their training camp on September 29 at the Fiji FA Academy in Ba, with the final roster of 23 players announced on October 5.
Regrettably, key players Remeuru Takiata and Muni Shivam Naidu will miss the qualifiers due to work obligations. On a positive note, Reddy confirmed that team captain Roy Krishna, currently focused on his club commitments, will join the Bula Boys on October 5, enhancing the squad’s strength as they approach the qualifiers.
