Kartik Reddy, the team manager for the Digicel Fiji Bula Boys, has expressed strong confidence in the squad as they prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. Reddy stated, “Our goal is to secure one of the 1.5 spots allocated to the OFC for qualification to the 2026 FIFA World Cup.”
The team is set to commence their training camp on September 29 at the Fiji FA Academy in Ba. The final roster of 23 players will be announced on October 5.
Unfortunately, key players Remeuru Takiata and Muni Shivam Naidu will not be able to participate due to work commitments. On a positive note, Reddy confirmed that team captain Roy Krishna, who is currently with his club, will join the squad on October 5, providing a significant boost ahead of the qualifiers.
