As the FIFA World Cup qualifiers draw near, Fiji Bula Boys’ head coach, Rob Sherman, expressed concerns about the unpredictability posed by recent coaching changes among their group opponents. With Josh Smith and Felipe Vega-Arango taking on new coaching positions, Sherman emphasized that their new approaches could significantly alter their teams’ play styles.

“There’s an element of the unknown because Josh and Felipe are new in their roles. How they’ve played in the past might not reflect how they’ll approach the upcoming matches. We’ve done our analysis, but there’s always some uncertainty when new coaches come into play,” stated Sherman.

Fiji is determined to leverage the support of their enthusiastic home crowd as they strive for a meaningful result in the next round of the World Cup qualifiers.
