With the FIFA World Cup qualifiers on the horizon, Fiji Bula Boys’ head coach, Rob Sherman, addressed the challenges posed by recent coaching changes among their group opponents. The appointment of new coaches, Josh Smith and Felipe Vega-Arango, adds an element of unpredictability to their rivals’ strategies.

Sherman remarked, “There’s an element of the unknown because Josh and Felipe are new in their roles. How they’ve played in the past might not reflect how they’ll approach the upcoming matches. We’ve done our analysis, but there’s always some uncertainty when new coaches come into play.”

Fiji aims to leverage the enthusiasm of their home supporters as they strive for a positive outcome in the next phase of the World Cup qualifiers.
