Fiji Bula Boys Boost Squad Ahead of World Cup Qualifiers

Rob Sherman, the head coach of the Digicel Fiji Bula Boys, has strengthened his team for the upcoming FIFA World Cup Oceania Qualifiers by adding three new players. The squad now includes Sydney United FC midfielder Leroy Jennings, Wellington Olympic AFC defender Gabrieli Matanisiga, and Suva FC defender Kavaia Rawaqa, bringing the total to an extended roster of 27 players.

Fiji will compete in Group A of the qualifiers, facing off against the Solomon Islands, Papua New Guinea, and New Caledonia. The first round of qualifiers is scheduled to begin on October 10 at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.

The complete 27-member squad is as follows: Isikeli Sevania, Samuela Kautoga, Epeli Leiroti, Ivan Kumar, Sitiveni Cavulagi, Thomas Dunn, Mohammed Raheem, Setareki Hughes, Aprosa Yada, Nabil Begg, Mosese Nabose, Tevita Waranaivalu, Merril Nand, Leroy Jennings, Sairusi Nalabu, Patrik Joseph, Atonio Tuivuna, Filipe Baravilala, Kavaia Rawaqa, Rahul Krishna, Jerome Narayan, Sterling Vasconcellos, Akuila Mataisuva, Dave Radrigai, Gabrieli Matanisiga, and Etonia Dogalau.
