Kartik Reddy, the team manager of the Digicel Fiji Bula Boys, has expressed optimism as the team prepares for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers. “We aim to claim the 1.5 spots available to OFC for qualification to the 2026 FIFA World Cup,” Reddy stated.
The squad will kick off their training camp on September 29 at the Fiji FA Academy in Ba, with the final 23-member team to be announced on October 5.
Unfortunately, key players Remeuru Takiata and Muni Shivam Naidu will be unable to participate due to work obligations. Nevertheless, Reddy confirmed that team captain Roy Krishna, who is currently involved with his club, will join the squad on October 5, providing a significant boost as they approach the qualifiers.
