The team manager of the Digicel Fiji Bula Boys, Kartik Reddy, has expressed optimism about the team’s prospects as they prepare for the qualifiers of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Reddy indicated that the team’s goal is to secure one of the 1.5 spots allocated to the Oceania Football Confederation for the upcoming World Cup.
The team is set to commence their training camp on September 29 at the Fiji FA Academy in Ba, with the final roster of 23 players expected to be announced on October 5. Unfortunately, key players Remeuru Takiata and Muni Shivam Naidu will miss the camp due to work obligations. However, Reddy confirmed that team captain Roy Krishna, who is currently engaged with his club, will join the squad on October 5, which will serve as a significant boost for the team ahead of the qualifiers.
