A heavy rain warning has been issued for the Yasawa and Mamanuca islands, Viti Levu, Kadavu, Moala, and the Southern Lau group. The Fiji Meteorological Office reports that a trough of low pressure, bringing cloud and rain, is expected to approach the nation from the west and impact various regions starting Thursday. There is a risk of localized heavy rainfall, which may result in flash flooding in low-lying areas. The Fiji Met Office cautions that vulnerable communities, businesses, and low-lying regions may experience localized flooding.
