A topical disturbance designated as 01F is currently situated approximately 70 kilometers west-northwest of Nadi and is progressing east-southeast at a speed of around 20 kilometers per hour. According to the Fiji Meteorological Service, residents can anticipate periods of rain, with some heavy rainfall and thunderstorms affecting many areas.

Significant northwest winds are expected to impact coastal regions, including the Yasawa and Mamanuca Islands, the western portion of Viti Levu, Vanua Levu, Taveuni, Kadavu, smaller nearby islands, Lau, and the Lomaiviti group. Wind speeds are forecasted to range from 37 to 46 kilometers per hour, with gusts reaching up to 55 kilometers per hour. These conditions are expected to develop late tonight and extend into the following morning.

Rainfall predictions for various regions include:
– **Navua/Suva/Nausori**: Expect occasional heavy rain and thunderstorms with a similar outlook for Tuesday.
– **Nadi/Lautoka/Ba**: Northwest winds of 35 to 50 kilometers per hour, gusting up to 65 kilometers per hour are anticipated, with occasional rain and thunderstorms. However, a clearer forecast for Tuesday suggests fine weather with brief showers.
– **Sigatoka/Coral Coast**: Expect a mix of northwest to southeast winds, with similar wind speeds and gusts, alongside periods of heavy rain and thunderstorms. A fine day is expected for Monday, aside from brief showers.
– **Tavua/Rakiraki and Yasawa/Mamanuca group**: Similar weather patterns are anticipated, with substantial winds, rain, and thunderstorms.
– **Labasa**: Expect conditions similar to those in Navua and Suva, with heavy rain and thunderstorms forecasted for Tuesday.
